Data Engineering and Architecture
Data platforms with lineage, access control and encryption designed in from the start
Overview
Data Trust & Governance Labs is Moraph's data engineering and advisory unit. We build data platforms with lineage, role-based access control and encryption designed in from the start, rather than added before an audit.
The problem it solves
Banks, health systems and public agencies want to use their data for analytics and AI, and must still meet privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA.
What’s included
- Data mesh
- We help organizations move from one central data lake to domain-owned data products that follow a shared governance standard.
- Real-time streaming
- We use Kafka or Confluent where batch processing is too slow, for example in fraud detection or patient monitoring.
- Legacy migration
- We move data from mainframes and on-premises databases to the cloud without losing history or breaking the systems that depend on it.
- Data platforms
- Snowflake or Databricks with row-level security and dynamic masking, so an analyst can see trends without ever seeing a Social Security number.
- Data catalogs
- Collibra, Alation or Atlan, so people can find the right data sets and every metric has an owner and a definition.
- Data observability
- We monitor data health with tools such as Monte Carlo and catch silent failures, such as missing records or schema drift, before they reach a report.
